Medicine Made from This Land, for the People of This Land
Every remedy in our apothecary is grown, harvested, and crafted by hand at Respite Ranch — infused with the same intention and care that flows through every part of our healing ministry. When you bring one of these preparations home, you bring a piece of the ranch with you.
From Seed to Remedy
Our apothecary begins in the soil. We grow over 40 varieties of medicinal herbs using regenerative, chemical-free practices on our 12-acre farm. Herbs are harvested at peak potency, dried slowly in our solar drying barn, and crafted into tinctures, salves, teas, and botanical preparations using traditional methods passed down through generations of herbalists.
All apothecary products are crafted as part of our 508(c)(1)(A) faith-based healing ministry. Proceeds directly support our sliding-scale healing programs and scholarship fund.

Slow Medicine, Made with Intention
Grown on the Ranch
Every herb begins as a seed in our regenerative gardens. We grow over 40 medicinal varieties without synthetic inputs, tending each plant through the full arc of its growing season.
Harvested at Peak Potency
Timing matters in herbal medicine. We harvest each plant at the moment of peak medicinal potency — flowers at full bloom, roots in autumn, leaves before flowering — guided by traditional herbalist knowledge.
Slow-Dried & Preserved
Herbs are dried slowly in our solar drying barn at low temperatures to preserve volatile oils and medicinal constituents. No artificial heat, no shortcuts.
Crafted in Small Batches
Each preparation is made by hand in small batches — tinctures macerated for 4–6 weeks, salves slow-infused for six weeks, teas blended fresh each season. Every batch is labeled with its harvest date and plant source.
"The earth has given us everything we need to heal. We just have to remember how to ask."
